Very First Warehouse Sale on the Westbank!

The West Bank Regional Warehouse sale was held in the atrium of the library on December 3, 2025. A few weeks before the sale Sharon Simmons, Collette Ricaud, Michele Thomassie, Will Hunn and Marie Orth went to WBR to go through books the library had purged. This group was able to get 27 boxes for our warehouse sale: 9 boxes of children’s nonfiction, 8 boxes of junior fiction and 10 boxes of young children fiction. These were supplemented with children’s books, romance, and adult fiction which had been brought back from the Big Book Sale in October. They also got some of the books from the sorting center. All boxes (114) sold and there were several requests for more boxes. The Friends made $575.00, which includes one $5.00 donation. A fantastic first effort and more to come in the future!
